He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elby Kirk and Jeanette Carman Kirk of Columbia. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Roberts Kirk of Columbia; his sister Kathy Bradberry of Angola, NY; his children, John Kirk, Jr. (Dana) of Columbia and Kimberly Kirk of Melbourne, Australia; and his stepdaughters, Kelli Carter (Adam) of Greenville and Ashley Lentz (Mark) of Charleston. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
