“To: The Gilbert family My sincere love and condolences are with you in the passing of Rev Gilbert. I met Rev Gilbert at Israel CME Church in Gville, SC. He was one of the first Pastors that I had heard that ministered with the presence of the Holy Spirit. I will never forget some of his sermons that left both he and I in tears. He was so anointed and inspirational. He loved people and truly a "servant of God". God has allowed one of his faithful servants to "rest and come home".”
