It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C Hart (Columbia, South Carolina), who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Willie Mae; his son James Karim; and his grandsons, Darrick Hart and David Wall. He is survived by: his children, Carinne Byrd, JoAnn Wall, Gail Turner, Sandra Jones and Zerrick Hart; his grandchildren, Harmonica Hart, Corey Byrd Marion Byrd (Denise), Dorion Jones Tiffany Wall (Keymara) and Zerrina Hart; and his great grandchildren, Corey Byrd, Carrington Byrd, Carlo Byrd, Aness Byrd, Anaz Byrd, Dashia Palmer, Dakota Jones and Zacari Hart. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members.
