He was predeceased by: his parents, William Patrick and Eleta Martin Donelan; and his siblings, Harriett Avery and Bill Donelan. He is survived by: his wife Beth; his daughters, Teresa Donelan and Harriett Singleton; his son-in-law Mark; his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Abigail; his sister Mary Kvasnicka; and his brother-in-law Robert.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Cross (335 N Kings Hwy, Sumter, SC 29154).

Memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund at the Church of the Holy Cross or a charity of one's choice.
