Harold P. Bonifas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold P. Bonifas of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bonifas and Lillian Bonifas; and his brothers, Richard Bonifas and Lawrence Bonifas. He is survived by: his sister Sister Alverda Bonifas O. P.; his wife Rita A. Bonifas; his daughters, Gayle Rush (Cy) and Robin Keyes (Raymond); his grandchildren, Tripp Rush (Sara Beth), Lauren Rush, Elizabeth Olsgaard (Neal), Raymond Keyes IV and Jillian Keyes; and his great grandchildren, Cyril Berwyn Rush IV, Robert Harold Rush, Bailey Elizabeth Olsgaard and John Rush Olsgaard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (100 Polo Rd, Columbia, SC 29223). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 2101 Rexford Rd #165W, Charlotte, NC 28211; St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 100 Polo Road, Columbia, SC 29223 or any other charity of one's choice, in loving memory of Mr. Harold P. Bonifas.
