Emma Carn Humphries Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Carn Humphries (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Harleyville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband W. Kenneth Humphries (Ken); her parents, C. P. Carn and Emma Jane Wimberly Carn; her brother Behling Carn; and her stepson Warren Keith Humphries.
She is survived by: her children, Sonya Weathers Turner (Travis) of Lexington, S. C., Melba Weathers Ross (Perry) of Lexington, S. C. and Ronald Allen Weathers (Carol) of Chapin, S. C.; and her grandchildren, Crystal Thomas Haltiwanger (Wesley), Katherine Thomas Ramsey, James Allen Weathers (Staci), Ashley Weathers Skriba (Michael), Taylor Turner McCloy (Stanley), Jarrett Turner, Ben, Tiffany Ross, Abby and Joshua Posey. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northeast Presbyterian Church (601 Polo Rd, Columbia, SC 29223). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
