Eleanor Sompayrac Anderson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2023, at the age of 94, Eleanor Sompayrac Anderson of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Wilma; and her husband Jack Anderson. She is survived by: her sons, Jay of Denver, NC, Todd (Ira) of Berlin Germany and David (Joy) of Matthews, NC; her grandchildren, Reynolds, Jennifer, Jessica, Carla, John, Allison and Alex; her niece Terry Jones; her nephew John Blackmon; and her cousin Ann Sompayrac Anderson. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Sompayrac organ fund at Welch Neck Baptist Church, 112 Church St. Society Hill, SC 29593 or to St David's Historic Cemetery98 2nd Street.
