He was predeceased by: his aunt Ann Keller Sprott; and his godfather Charles Herbert Wickenberg, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Britt Sprott; his children, Joseph Richardson Sprott (Claire) and Ashley Elizabeth Sprott Hilsman; his half-siblings, Jerry Morrison and Carol Self (Kenneth); and his cousins, Beth Wickenberg Ely and Nancy Wickenberg Cobb.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the The-Fields Episcopal Church (5220 Clemson Ave, Columbia, SC 29206).
