She was predeceased by: her husband Alonzo Smith; her parents, Andrew McDonald McCottry and Lucille Turner McCottry; her siblings, Dr. Turner McCottry, Ruth Mae McCottry Wiley and Gloria McCottry Harris; and her daughter-in-law Denise Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Alonzo W. Smith Sr. (Joslyn) and Craig H. Smith, Sr.; and her grandsons, Alonzo W. Smith Jr. (Tiffany), Daniel M. Smith (Maya), Craig H. Smith, Jr. (Marci) and Christopher F. Smith. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
