Chester Ray Harris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2025, at the age of 86, Chester Ray Harris (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Columbia, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Conner Harris and Nettie Lorine Adams Harris; his brother Adrian A. Harris; and his nephew Adrian P. Harris. He is survived by: his wife Michelle C. Harris; his daughters, Natalie Harkey (Lynn), Melissa Allen Foster (Michael) and Tina McDonald Mt (Chris); his grandchildren, Ellis A. Allen, II (Haley) and Madison McDonald; his great grandchild Ellis A. Allen, III; and his niece Cindy Harris. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Northeast Presbyterian Church (601 Polo Rd, Columbia, SC 29223). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray's memory to Northeast Presbyterian Church (Living Streams) 601 Polo Road, Columbia, SC 29223.
