He is survived by: his wife Judy Blakely; his daughter Charlisa Alia Blakely of Columbia, SC; his stepdaughter Shauntee Holmes of Decatur, GA; his grandchildren, Breemond Holmes of Fairbanks, AK and Deja Holmes of Decatur, GA; his siblings, Betty B. C. Montgomery of Charlotte, NC, Jane B. Spann of Spartanburg, SC, Tannie B. Smith of Columbia, SC and John Elliot Blakely; and his sister-in-law Zephia Wood Blakely of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
