She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hyslop and Joyce Hyslop. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Purvis (Brian Purvis) and Shannon Cruz (Hector Cruz); her grandchildren, Bobby Purvis, Micaela Cruz and Kenneth Cruz; her brother Danny Hyslop; and her great grandchild Levi.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jp Holley Funeral Home Southeast Chapel (8132 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia, SC 29209). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (7100 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia, SC 29209).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Carolina Poodle Rescue in Charlene's name, reflecting her deep love for animals.
