She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandchildren, Jacob and Charlotte Neely (Charla); her friend Charles Jackson O'Shields, Jr.; her daughters, Jennifer O'Shields and Kathryn Neely; and her son-in-law Jesse Neely.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gateway Baptist Church Chapel Fund.
