Andrew Elrod Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2023, at the age of 81, Andrew Elrod Jr. (Columbia, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Aaron "Buck" Elrod Sr. and Martha "Mattie" Davis Elrod. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane "Janie" Sowers Elrod; his pet Charlie; his children, Cynthia "Cindy" Elrod Clough (Pete) and Robert Andrew "Andy" Elrod (Marie); his grandchildren, Sarah Anne Clough Hardin (Jonathan), Emily Jayne Clough, Dillon Andrew Elrod (Savannah) and Zachary Thomas Elrod; his great grandchildren, Lilly Anne Clough, Wells Davis Hardin, Sellas William Hardin and Payson Charles Hardin; his sister Carol Elrod Player (Eddie); and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth "Liz" Sowers Barkman Branham (Dewey) and James "Jimmy" Robert Sowers (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenlawn Baptist Church.
