It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Blythe of Clover, South Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Tom L. Blythe. He is survived by: his mother Joan Blythe; his sister Susan Kidd (Jim) of Charlotte, NC; his niece Mary Tran (Hai) of Charlotte, NC; his nephew Andrew Kidd (Jennifer) of Charlotte, NC; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth, Caleb, Addison, Cooper and Ashlynn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hopewell Presbyterian Church 10500 Beatties Ford Rd, Huntersville NC 28078 or Bethel Volunteer Fire Dept. 5620 Oakridge Rd, Clover SC 29710.

“We are all so sorry about Jeff's passing and haven't even begun to understand how much we'll miss him. Jeff and I worked on various radio projects, including calling the nets, for 15 years. Recently since he was president of the W4CQ club and I was president of the W4BFB club, we worked together to make ham radio more successful. He was a good friend and always a helpful presence.
