It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Roy Jackson of Clover, South Carolina, born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bigger Jackson, Sr. and Nellie Bailey Jackson; and his siblings, David "Bill" Jackson, James Foster Jackson, Andy Jackson, Margaret Robinson, Mary Ann Chambers and Nellie Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Robinson Jackson; his daughters, Stephanie J. Clinton (Keith) of Clover, SC and Dana J. Knox (Daniel) of Edgemoor, SC; his grandchildren, Stephen Clinton (Savannah), Samantha Pierson (Rex), Jakob Clinton and Samuel Knox; his great grandchildren, Mason Clinton, Ellie Clinton and Piper Clinton; and his siblings, Lula Covington, Helen Covington, Nina Lynn, Sandra Parker, Sarah Black, Patsy Conrad, Buster Jackson, Joe Jackson, Ed Jackson and Miles Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
