She is survived by: her husband Clyde; her children, Lynda Thomas (Michael) and Ken Newell (Angela); her siblings, Jean Norwood, R. V. Durham, John Durham, James Shaw (Kenny) and Jolyn Caraway; her grandchildren, Whitney Thomas McCarter, Lindsey, Jeron Thomas, Brenwynne Wright Grigg, Anna Wright Penrod, Paul, Moriah, Seth Wright, Hannah, Abigail and Christian Newell; and her great grandchildren, Kensey, Micah, Layla, Aiden, Indie and Asher.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the North Gaston Church of God (1310 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
