He was predeceased by: his father James Andy "Red" Thomas; and his brother James B. "Jimmy" Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Haney Thomas of Clover, SC; his children, Amanda Thomas of Bessemer City, NC and Layten Clemons of Bessemer City, NC; his sisters, Teresa Rogers, Lisa Parker (Pat), Leslie Williams (Jonathan) and Jessica Thomas (Blake); his grandchildren, Avin Alexander, Miller Sexton, Lillian Sexton, Savannah Clemons, Ryder Clemons and Waylon Clemons; and his sisters, Chihuahua and Princess. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
