He was predeceased by: his father Thaddeus Martin; his wife Carolyn Jackson Thomas; and his siblings, Betsy Johnson, Thaddeus Thomas, Jr. and George Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughter Kara T. McLeod (Trey) of Lake Wylie, SC; his grandchildren, Alex McLeod and Lily McLeod; and his brother Steve Thomas. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
