It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Abner Warden of Clover, South Carolina, born in Coinjock, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Warden and Essie Mae Warden (Simmons); his wife Louvenia; his daughter Kimberly; and his sisters, Gladys Warden and Corrine Chambers.
He is survived by: his children, Winona Warden Mimms of Clover, SC and Craig Monte Warden of Decatur, GA; his sister-in-law Thomasena Clark (William) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Autumn Turner (Franklin), Imani Warden, Chanel Mimms and Craig Thomas Warden; his great grandchildren, Josiah Turner, Noah Mimms and Azavier Jackson; his niece Evelyn Gaylord; and his great-niece Rev. Allison Breland (Stephen).
