He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Ann Brown (Sharpe); his brother-in-law Johnny Brown of Cayce, SC; his brother Charles Aaron Sharpe of Columbia, SC; his sister-in-law Louise Sharpe (McCarter) of York, SC.; and his parents, Barney Albert Sharpe and Birdie Mae Sharpe (Johnson) of Swansea, SC..
He is survived by: his wife Emily Lou Sharpe (Mashburn); his son Curtis Lamar Sharpe; his daughter-in-law Megan Catherine Adams of Marshall, NC; his siblings, Richard Cribb Sharpe (Nancy) of Hemingway, SC, Clinton Albert Sharpe of Columbia, SC, John Robbie Sharpe (Polly) of Columbia, SC, Haskell Bernard Sharpe of York, SC, Oral Roberts "Pokey" Sharpe of Swansea, SC and Carolyn Lee Sharpe of North, SC; and his sister-in-law Loretta Sharpe (Wray). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
