He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Terri Deese; his daughter Michelle Campbell; his son-in-law Will Campbell; his daughter Melissa Wolfe; his son-in-law Patrick Wolfe; his daughter Heather Malmberg; his son-in-law Eric Malmberg; his grandchildren, Alex and Alyssa Campbell; his brother Glenn Deese; his sister-in-law Kay Deese; his brother Greg Deese; his sister-in-law Cindy Deese; and his sister Deborah Hughes. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made in honor of Danny to Good Samaritan United Methodist Church.
