She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Davis and Ethel Davis; her husband Walter P. Barnette; her daughter Phyllis; her son-in-law James Hilton; her son Gene; and her daughters-in-law, Denise Barnette and Jan Barnette.
She is survived by: her daughter Libby; her son-in-law Jeff Worley; her grandson Quinton Worley; her son Reverend Sam Barnette of Gastonia; and her sisters, Barbara Duvall and Nell Huffman. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
