She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Grady, Sr. and Eleanor Isabelle Covington McRae; her husband John Gibson, Sr.; and her brother Henry Grady McRae, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Gibson (Lowall) of Bennettsville, John D. Gibson, Jr. (Frieda) of McColl and Gerald Thomas Gibson of Greenville, SC; and her sister Grace Adele McRae Pearson of Bennettsville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
