He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Gibson, Sr. and Adrienne Lee Caldwell. He is survived by: his sons, Marion Gibson Caldwell, III and Samuel Jones Caldwell (Jenni) of Raleigh, NC; his sister Winnie Lee Callahan of Tampa Bay, FL.; and his grandchildren, Karter Caldwell, Jonesie Caldwell, Wiley Caldwell and Bo Caldwell.
