He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clinton Alford and Savannah Alford; his daughters, Debbie Alford, Gracie Alford and Peggy Johnson; his siblings, James Alford, John Alford, Carrol Alford and Viola McIntyre; his grandchild Thomas Bruce Alford, Jr.; his wife Louise Alford; his children, Clinton Alford III (Louise), Willie Alford, Thomas Alford (Elizabeth), Tony Alford, Annie McCollum, Sandra Alford, Mary Alford, Jennifer Bridges (Olonzo) and Wanda Thomas (Quinn); and his sisters, Sallie McDowell and Grace Alford. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
