She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Sammie Lee McGowan; her daughters, Michelle Robertson (Craig) of Raleigh, NC, Carolyn Clark of Brooklyn, NY, Georgia Bowers of Laurens, SC and Leeowner Cook of Laurens, SC; her stepchildren, Bobbie Smith of Laurens, SC, Bernice Hawthorne of Greenville, SC, Henry McGowan (Diane) of Greenville, SC. and Richard McGowan of Greenville, SC.; her grandchild Andreia Scott; and her siblings, Johnnie Brasley, Sandra Bennett (John) and Billy Sullivan (Linda).
