He is survived by: his wife Patricia Philson; his children, Windell Philson (Jennifer) of Fountain Inn, Christopher Philson (Tara) of Simpsonville, Miranda Lilley (Tavis) of Greenville and Lashone Hope of Lexington; his stepdaughters, Pamela, Jacqueline Miller, Angela Miller and Barbara Cheeks (James); and his siblings, James Putsey Philson of Laurens, Rev. Carolyn Gibbs (James) of Clinton and Evelyn Davis (Reginald) of Christianburg, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
