He is survived by: his significant other Thomye Cave of Fort Washington, MD; his daughters, Tijuana Wormley (Kendrick) of Clinton, SC, Pamela Cunningham of Mauldin, SC, Ursula Miller Patterson (Bert) of Rock Hill, SC and Monique Jennings Smith (Gregg) of Columbia, SC; his stepdaughter Renee Tillman of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Shirley Jenkins (Jimmy) of Clinton, SC, James Gilliam of Clinton, SC and Curtis Young of Woodbridge, VA; and his aunts, Viola Chambers of Clinton, SC, Nancy Martin of Clinton, SC and Aurelia Peake. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces; 2 nephews, 1 great niece and 4 great nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dunn & Sons Funeral Home (9420 Marlboro Pike, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772). Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sanders-Thompson Mortuary (1235 S Bell St, Clinton, SC 29325). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Rosemont Cemetery (807 Willard Rd, Clinton, SC 29325).
