He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Miller Bauder and Mary Magee Bauder; and his siblings, John Bauder, David Bauder, Harriet Allen and Floy.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Thompson Bauder; his children, Tom Bauder (Jody) of Edmonds, WA, Todd Bauder (Janine) of Charleston, SC and Amy Carter (Robert) of Waxhaw, NC; and his siblings, Theodore Bauder of Colorado, Mark Bauder of Pennsylvania and Florence Manasterski of Elwood City, PA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
