We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2020, at the age of 92, Virginia Gray Vance (Clinton, South Carolina), born in Laurens, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Mercer Vance; her parents, L. Russell Gray and Gertrude Sexton Gray; her son Russell Gray Vance (Eddie) of Fort Lauderdale; her grandchildren, Ralph Fleming Patterson, III (Blair) of Atlanta, Mary Ellen Suitt Barnwell (Brian) of Eastover and Thomas Howard Suitt, III (Megan) of Boston; her great grandchildren, Robert Ford Barnwell and Beaufort Warwick Barnwell; and her children, Mary Bailey Vance Suitt and Robert Mercer Vance, Jr. (Bob). She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
The family will not receive friends following the service because of COVID-19 restrictions.
