He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie, Sr. Payne and Geneva Payne. He is survived by: his children, Nettie Dandy of Clinton, Charlene Payne of Clinton and Tristian Grant of Clinton; his close friend Thomasina Davis; his sister Martha Boozer; and his caregivers, Charlie Payne Jr. of Joanna, SC, Ozzie Payne of Newberry, SC, Ernest Payne (Patricia) of Washington, DC, Martha Ann Franks of Columbia, SC, Brenda Roberts and Takesha Goode. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, an aunt, an uncle, 2 brothers in law, 2 sisters in law.
