It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Lynn Smith (Clinton, South Carolina), who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Frances Cooper Smith; and her son Adrian Shane Merrill. She is survived by: her spouse Ira Pate; her father Geroge Robert Smith; her daughter Amber Bouslay (Travis Montgomery) of Easley; her granddaughter Adrianna Bouslay; her stepchildren, Morgan Pate and Jeanna Pate; and her siblings, Brandon Smith of Clinton, Ann Smith of Ware Shoals and Libby Manley of Gray Court.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hurricane Baptist Church (2763 Hurricane Church Rd, Clinton, SC 29325). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
