He is survived by: his parents, Inez Jones and Ed Jones of Augusta; his wife Mary Dale Turner; his sister Judy Peterson of Beech Island, SC; his daughters, Clare Lee, Cynthia Simmons (Henry) and Melissa Turner; and his grandchildren, Chalmers Lee, Chelsea Waters (Tyler), Marcia Pettay (Tye), Melissa Clare Cotrone (John), Michael Beaty and Dexter Simmons. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and four step-children.
