She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Reverend Carroll Pitts and Florance Lorraine Jenkins Pitts; her husband Theron Roger Byers; her children, Lory Bell (Barry Todd) of Clinton, Cindy Pritchard (Eugene) of Possum Kingdom and Reverend Theron Byers II (Tina) of Piedmont; and her grandchildren, Barry M. Bell, Nicole Summey, Thomas Pritchard, Timothy Pritchard, Brandon Byers, Amber Miller, Genesis Byers, Camron Clay and Michael Chapman.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crescent Hospice, 105 Lovett Drive, Greenville, S.C. 29607.
