She is survived by: her husband George Franks, Jr.; her daughters, Jessie Mae Scurry of Clinton and Lisa Booker of Clinton; her brothers, Osiris Shabazz and Bobby Copeland; her grandchildren, Kendra Scurry, George, Marcus Scurry, Luvenia Thompson, Larry Scurry Jr., Bridgette Clark and Denise Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Joanne Calhoun Holmes, Ruby Turner and Fred Lewis (Dollie). She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Child Funeral Home Chapel (301 W Carolina Ave, Clinton, SC 29325).
