He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Cain and Annie Kanipe Cain; his sons, Loyd Timothy Cain and Michael Cain; and his son-in-law Tony Fowler.
He is survived by: his wife Katheryn Weems Cain; his children, Darrell Cain (Phyllis) of Rock Hill, SC, Leonard L. Cain of Wilmington, NC, Jeffery Cain (Pam) of Laurens, SC, Jack Cain (Ellen) of Huntsville, AL, Carol Cain of Sharon, SC and Terry Fowler of Calera, AL; and his daughter-in-law Marlene Cain of Graniteville, SC.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
