She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Joe Simmons; her parents, William James Dunlap, Sr. and Romola Tinsley Dunlap; her brother William J. Dunlap, Jr.; and her great grandchild Alex Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Simmons (Ginger) of Clinton and Beckie Scott Clinton (Nathan); her grandchildren, Michael Simmons, Ashley Alexander (Derryk), Jonathan Scott (LeighAnn), Scott Simmons (Christy) and Laura Riddle (Paul); and her sisters, Anna Simmons of Greenville and Candy Dunlap of Greenville. She is also survived by her ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
