It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie James Thacker of Clinton, South Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thacker, Sr. and Ora Robinson Thacker; and his wife Nancy Thacker. He is survived by: his children, Travis Roberson of Tampa, Robert Thacker of Piedmont, SC, Roul Thacker of Clinton, James Thacker (Samantha) of Clinton and Pamela Thacker (Robert) of Laurens; and his brother Clarence Thacker, Jr. of Laurens. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
