He was predeceased by: his parents, Burgin Dellinger and Annie Dellinger; his spouse Frances Nichols Dellinger; his daughter Kay Taylor; his siblings, Dennis Dellinger, Crayton Dellinger and Linda Arrowood; his great grandchild Hunter Wray; and also Margaret Dellinger.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Dellinger (Ruby) of Clinton and Debbie Frisch of Lincolnton; and his siblings, Ralph Dellinger of Kings Mountain, Roger Dellinger of Kings Mountain and Amelia Barnette of Kings Mountain. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; his and his numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
