She was predeceased by: her father Elder Lester Rice; and her husband James "Pee Wee" Young. She is survived by: her children, Willie Young of Forestville, MD, Curtis Young of Woodbridge, VA, James Gilliam of Clinton, SC and Shirley Jenkins of Clinton, SC; her children-in-law, James "Jimmy" Jenkins of Clinton, SC and Corinne Gilliam of Clinton, SC; her sisters, Margaret R. Miller of Clinton, SC and Viola Chambers of Clinton, SC; and her siblings-in-law, Lela Mae Rice of Greenville, SC, Aurelia Peake of Washington, DC, Polly Calhoun of Washington, DC, Gwendolyn Long of Temple Hill, MD, Nancy Martin of Clinton, SC, Thomas Long of Temple Hill, MD and D. C.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren.
