She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Dupree Medlin; her parents, Grover Cleveland and Alpha Omega Cothran Wilson; her son Michael E. Ballew; her granddaughter Jody E. Jacks; and her siblings, Paul Wilson, James Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Walt Wilson, Roy Wilson, Sammy Wilson, Junior Wilson, Vera Wilson Blackwell, Margaret Wilson Setzer, Carolyn Wilson Cook, Gerry Wilson Johnson and Beatrice Wilson Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Sandi Ballew Jacks of Irmo, Brian Medlin (Brenda) of Greenwood, Mike Medlin (Brenda) of Ware Shoals and Tim Medlin of Greenville; her granddaughter Ashley Salter Kimmell of Irmo; her great grandchild McKenzie Williams DeCarlo (Sean) of Washington; and her sister Barbara Wilson Martin of Ponte Vedra, FL..
