She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Hunter and Brucie Owings Blakely; and her children, James C. Spears, Jr. (Denise) of Spartanburg, Blake Spears of Greenville and Carolyn Culbertson (Thomas) of Blythewood. She was also cherished by five grandchildren.
