He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Bowers; his grandson Avery Sims; his mother Mary Ethel Bowers; his sisters, Correna Bowers, Kay Williams, Lisa Harber and Karla Hingle; and his significant other Jean Hicks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
