He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hooks and Mary Hooks of Valley; his sister Libby Leak; and his brother-in-law Doss Leak. He is survived by: his wife Ann H. Hooks; his children, Jeanne Minsavage (Jerry), Bradley Hooks (Deana) and Tobi Lindsey (Chad); his grandchildren, Tabitha Precise (Jonathan), Austin Lindsey, Jeri Lynn Rapczak (Taebor), Elizabeth Minsavage, Posie Hooks, Banjo Hooks, Ryder Precise, Annie Precise, Early Whitaker and Roona Brown; and his brother David Hooks.
