He is survived by: his wife Lydia W. Calwise; his children, Daniel Calwise, Jarvis Calwise, Nikki Calwise (Andrew), Ashley Bates (Marcus), Arcilla Calwise (Adrain), Nora Cook and Wendy Johnson (Vincent); and his brothers, Raymond Carwise, Robert Carwise (Cora Ann) and William Carwise. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
