Margaret S. Brightman Obituary
Margaret S. Brightman, 75, of Cleveland, SC, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Harry J. Shumway and Margaret Edwards. She was a member of Gap Creek Baptist Church, Marietta, SC and worked for many years as a nurse.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother T.J. Shumway and a daughter Peggy.
Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of fifty three years, Wayne Brightman, a daughter Sonya Brightman and son Andrew Brightman as well as five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Gap Creek Baptist Church, 381 Gap Creek Road, Marietta, SC on Friday, March 25th, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 02:00 PM with Funeral services immediately following in the sanctuary at 2:00 P.M. Committal service and burial will follow at Gap Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
