She was predeceased by: her parent Christopher Morton; and her siblings, Mildred Whitney, R. L. Morton, Milford Morton, Clyde Morton and John Allen Martin.

She is survived by: her parent Molly Tinsley Morton; her children, Jennette H. Porter of Piedmont, Mary H. Timmons of Cleveland and James C. Harris Jr; and her sister Addie Lee Lollis of Piedmont.
