He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sexton; his sons, Stephen Sexton of Central, SC, Timothy Sexton of Greensboro, NC and Reverend Joel Sexton (Cindy) of Taylors, SC; his sister Eugenia Webster of Clinton, TN; and his grandchildren, Kathleen Moore (Chad) of Clinton, SC and Joseph Carl Sexton of Taylors, SC..
