With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Felder Whitmire of Clemson, South Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Poindexter and Hugh Mellard Felder. She is survived by: her husband Episcopal; her daughters, Anne Mellard Whitmire Parker (Donald) of Atlanta and Louise Whitmire Catania (Joseph) of Raleigh; and her great grandchild Henry William Brooks of Raleigh. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
